Overview
- Our aim is to provide the best possible standards of treatment, care and support for patients affected by cancer and haematological conditions.
- The oncology services offered at our hospital are Medical Oncology and Surgical Oncology.
As part of the diagnostic process, our medical oncologists guide a comprehensive work-up for every individual — including appropriate and relevant investigations, governed by the results of the medical history and physical examination.
Analysis of these results helps in accurate diagnosis, appropriate staging and specific treatment plans that are most suitable for you. If required, our medical oncologist will discuss the diagnosis and its implications with you in detail, along with the treatment options available, the intent and impact of treatment, and how it will help you get through your cancer.
Our medical oncologist is integral to a clinical team comprising the surgeon, radiation oncologist, pathologist, radiologists and nuclear medicine personnel. Treatment of cancer is a multi-modality team approach, and the department works in close liaison with medical and radiation oncology for comprehensive care of the patient.
